Trick-taking games

Welcome to my site devoted to trick-taking card games. I've been playing card games since I was a young boy. My first love was Pinocle, which is why I own this domain name.

As time passed, I found I enjoyed thinking about, analyzing, and teaching all types of trick-taking card games. Each game has its own unique strategy and I find that very appealing. My current focus is on duplicate bridge.

I'm looking forward to adding to this web site and am always willing to answer questions about the games I play at my blog.

Currently I host a Rookie Duplicate bridge session on Tuesdays and a ten week bridge class at the Seattle Bridge Club in North Seattle and I play in a drop-in game at Third Place Commons in Lake Forest Park, Washington. See the links page for more details.
